My birthday's tomorrow. All in all, it's been a whatever year. 8th grade...I'm glad it's over. 9th grade...seems like we just started last week. So far, it's been awesome, except for one class, which I have some problems with. I can't believe I'm 15 already. I can still remember my 13th birthday, which I blogged about, on my Kaoru Evangelion layout. That's a long time ago. I've changed so much since then. Life goes on....you can't stop time.

1.25: Guess whose 15 now?? Actually, no, not now, but at like 11 or 12-ish.

Last night was weird. I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't sleep until I read everything assigned in my Biology book AND finished my notecard. However...I somehow did go to sleep, and in the morning, I was in my bed. I know I couldn't have walked to my bedroom and accidentally fallen asleep there, because I didn't go to my bedroom at all. Also, the light would've been on the whole night, because I don't turn off the lights unless I'm conciously aware that I'm going to sleep and because I don't like to be in dark rooms @ 1 in the morning. Very, very, very weird. I don't think it was my parents, or else they'd say something to me about it (they're not the type to keep quiet). I think it was a miracle of God...because he knew I needed the sleep. Of course, I was like, "oh darn," in the morning because I didn't finish reading chapter 3 and didn't even START on chapter 13 or my notecard, but God strikes again, and I end up reading chapter 13 on the bus, and finishing my notecard during lunch (which is why I wasn't sitting at lunch w/ Lily, Viola, Ellen, Lisa, Christina, and Susan...I didn't have the time to socialize, although I never partake much of it anyway, and I needed a hard surface to write fast and clear ). I finished my notecard JUST AS Dr. Wood was passing out the orange sheets which we took our quiz on (although I had to forsake lunch, but I wasn't hungry anyway...yes!). Guess what I got? 5/5, 100%! Hallelujah! =D I thought I wouldn't be too upset with a 3/5, but.....5/5!! O_O

Lol, I'm tired of being such an upper extreme introvert. I need to start talking. I refuse to be one of those people who just complain, whine, and criticize the whole day though...that's worse than being silent. If only there were a book on how to talk to people. There's one about what to say when you're speaking to yourself, but I think I got that down pretty well....I think. Nah...

The Bartimaeus Trilogy > Harry Potter, and Susan, sad to say, but >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than Jonathan Strange & Dr. Norrel (didn't even finish that book. Was through 300-400 pages and failed to notice the purpose of the plot. Only redeeming quality was author's writing style, but even that got old). To those who haven't read the Bartimaeus Trilogy...well...I'm not going to say much to you because you probably won't care about what I say anyway. Just know that if you die without reading this series, you missed out on .01244% of your life's enjoyability.

Saturday, October 15, 2005, 11:30 p.m.

Today I volunteered for the TJ Open House between 8 and 12 AM. I saw...um...past versions of us last year, although I didn't really go to the open house last year (sleep). I stood around and handed out flyers and brochures. Sometimes there were no one coming through the main door, and sometime 5 families came at once...resulting in really fast talking that I never knew I was capable of, and no one would ever expect me to be capable of. I stood around near the 4-person orchestra. They were really, really awesome, especially their Canon in D! I remember when Jenny, Jessica, Wade and I played Canon in D at Hunters Woods. Wow. Their version was just 3-4x longer.

I don't plan on fixing the layout anytime in the future that I can think of.

If you're reading this, I love you Jenny ;_;

And happy birthday Nicole!! 14 now!! You're getting closer and closer to getting your senior discount! ^__^

AHH that killed my formatting...Okay, Nicole, tell me when you've saved it onto your computer, and then I'll just insert a link to it instead of putting the entire picture up.

Friday, September 30, 2005, 06:37 p.m.

This week has been nice. A bit sad, because people from my old school don't seem to recognized me anymore, but it was okay. Charles Seife (author of the book Zero that we had to read this summer) came to our school today and his presentation, I have to say, was offending. I might have seen this in the wrong light, but what I got from the lecture was that scientists are extra-ordinarily rational people against the world and it's grasp on morals...and extremely proud of it. ...Ok, sure, your opinion.

I just ate, like, 3-4 of those huge chocolates and 999 of those soy chips. I need to exercise. My youth group leaders are sick and canceled the meeting tonight, so I'm going shopping with my parents (or maybe just my mom) tonight. I don't really need clothes, but I do need to relax (and, well, look to buy a new eyemask. The one I have now doesn't really serve its purpose). Ummm...whatelse.....my books from Amazon arrived, I just thought of an awesome way to compile notes for my Tech quiz on Monday, my parents want would like to buy me a $299 dollar metal DDR mat b/c they want to see me exercise more, I really wish K.N would say hi to me in the halls...or at least I'd be able to get the opportunity to say hi, I don't think I should've laughed at Mr. Potoker's tractor incident today (it sounded so fake, and that's why I laughed. It probably is fake =\), I should go exercise now, I will stop wasting my time, I will sleep before 1 everyday, I will finish up to Lab 099 this weekend (okay, maybe just 7 or 8), I will somehow raise my Biology grade, I need to remember to do my BOD test, I hope the other people in our group remembered the Fecal Coliform test yesterday, and I need to study for Latin, in relative pronouns, macrons (always), personal pronouns, and everything. Oh right. Yesterday. It was raining slightly and we went on a field trip to a forest/stream to test water quality/gather data about the area. So beautiful *_* My team members are all so cool. I love TJ.

Edit: Did I really just take 16 minutes to type this entry?

Tuesday, September 27, 2005, 05:11 p.m.

I got tagged by Susan, although it wasn't OFFICIAL, since she called me by the wrong name. =o. Okay, my real first name is now Chari Aeras Eirini. It means...grace, air, and peace in Greek. And that's my name. I actually wanted grace, water, and peace, but the word for water wasn't as pretty as the word for air, and I have a thing for pretty-sounding words. Abrevviated, you could refer to me as Chari A.E..

And so...it's my turn to tag someone else after I give some info.

List 10 things that make you happy (in no particular order) and tag 5 friends.

1. God (what can you say, except that this is obvious? The list wouldn't exist at all if not for Him)

2. Drawing/Coloring/Painting/Sketching

3. Coding

4. Getting perfects on my test/quizzes/assignments.

5. Seeing people I haven't seen in a long time.

6. Seeing someone I really really LIKE that I haven't seen in a long time.

7. Latin.

8. Pleasant surprises.

9. Meeting interesting new people.

10. Being productive.

11. Not delaying.

12. Philosophy

13. Nothing

14. Nothing

15. Things working out the way it should.

16. Nothing

17. Ummmm

18. Nothing

19. Anything interesting....

20. Nothing

I tag...Hea and Nicole. Nicole gets tagged twice because, well, she's available. In the perfect world, 2 = 5

Monday, September 26, 2005, 05:16 p.m.

I read some of my older entries and boy, were they...immature. I changed so much. Soooo much. I'm like, really mature now (um...75% of the time anyway). Time goes by, life goes on... I can remember last year where I was trying to do the quiet, mysterious, superior thing, although I never got it going, since I was neither mysterious nor superior (although I was quiet). Now, I'm just trying to be the nicest person in the world. What changed me? My youth group @ church. Wow, if they weren't there, I'd probably still be sulking around at TJ not talking to anybody except for Susan and maybe 1-2 others, and avoiding the gazes of 95% of the people I know so that I won't be able to catch their eye and then, gasp, have to wave or say hi to them.

Oh right. Guess who I saw today? Well, today wasn't the first day...I saw him last week too while I was walking to Latin, although I didn't realize it until 2 seconds after he'd passed me. I saw....a person that I haven't seen in 5 years. I see a number of people that I haven't seen in 5 years, but this person is different, just different. I don't need to name names, lol ^_^

I guess this last paragraph will be about homework. I have a lot. Conclusio est =D

EDIT: This is the post-conclusion, so I didn't just lie in the sentence above. Anyway, Susan and I got our banner for our Online Role-Play/Interactive Story Club going. I'm not going to upload it for the public though. There are 2 ways that you can see it: 1. Wait for our club to finally set up our site. 2. Hack into either Susan's or my email account. As for the forum program, I'm still deciding whether to use phpBB, or yaBB. Vbulletin is out of the question until we get donations (although the money should really be donated to Katrina, not some high-schoolers' roleplaying website), and Invision...umm....I'd rather have vbulletin. Lol, my mom just told me that my dad was taking a walk in our neighborhood and he now needs her to pick him up in the car, since it's raining and he's stuck. But the real question is why was he home so early...I saw his car in the driveway when I was walking home from school. His office was moved to Herndon, but if this means that I won't have my precious "alone time" everyday, then I'm not going to be "yayyyyyyyyy"

Sunday, September 25, 2005, 05:50 p.m.

=) Guess what this is?!?!?! This is....my first published layout in almost 7-8 months!!! Yes! I'm back to Pitas! This time for real! More real than the other times that I said that it was for real!

I love my blog so much. Yeah...I can't believe I'm that geeky either.

I neglected an hour of homework time to get this up and running. I'll go do it now. I only have English, Latin, Biology, and Comp. Sci left, after all. I want to sleep before 11:30 tonight.

I've discovered the greatness of Adobe ImageReady. That is all I'm going to say for this.

Feel free to steal this layout. I don't understand why people are so uptight about other people using their layouts. Just send me an email and I'll send you the zip file (maybe we can even affiliate). Don't be stupid and save every single picture on here. There are 13, and some of them are extremely hard to miss.

archives Only I have them. You can find them if you're really smart though. I'll give you a hint...the first one EVER is here. The rest, I should say, are "in order". Beware of L's, and um, I don't have the most recent one online.
